Whitchurch-Stouffville Strawberry Festival:The Whitchurch-Stouffville Strawberry Festival will celebrate40 years in the community. The event will feature live entertainment,shopping, games and fireworks. It runs from June 28, 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. andJune 29 and 30from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m.

Newmarket Farmers' Market:The Newmarket Farmers' Market at Riverwalk Commons, on Doug Duncan Drive, where you can connect with local farmers, enjoy delicious treats, discover unique artisans, take in some live music, and enter a draw for a market basket,while visiting with family and friends. The market is open Saturdays from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. until October.

Aurora Farmers' Market & Artisan Fair:Shop local, shop fresh at theAurora Farmers' MarketSaturday from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. until Oct. 26 at 49 Wells St. (northeast corner of Town Park) featuring artisans, farmers, food vendors and community groups.

Newmarket's Tim Hortons Canada Day Festival: Canada festivities take place atRiverwalk Commons, 200 Doug Duncan Dr.,from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. with live concerts, food vendors including a licensed area and barbecue managed by the North Newmarket Lions Club, rides on the Tim Hortons Express Train, buskerentertainment, vendors, face painting, and more.Be sure to also check out the festivities happening next dooron Newmarket's Main Street. Shuttle bus available.

Newmarket's Canada Day Concert and Fireworks: The Newmarket Citizens Band plays from 7:30 to 8:30p.m., followed by aconcert from 9 to 10 p.m. featuring the bandSwitchbeat, all at George Richardson Park, Bayview Parkway. Fireworks will take place from approximately 10:10 to 10:30 p.m.

Aurora's Canada Day Parade:Canada Day celebrations beginwith the annual parade with marching bands, including the Governor Generals Horse Guards, cultural performers and more on Yonge Street, starting at 10 am. and travelling north from Edward Street to Aurora Heights Drive.

Town of Aurora Canada Day Festivities:Celebrate Canada’s birthday with festivities that include live multicultural showcase and children’s activities, food vendors, mini golf, inflatables and more from 11 a.m. to 11 p.m.at Lambert Willson Park andAurora Family Leisure Complex.
