ROBERTS, Carmel la 72, formerly of Ridgefield, NJ and New Port Richey passed away June 29, 2013. Carmel la was born to Gerard and Congetta (nee Citro) Cecere in Jersey City. She spent many years in Ridgefield, NJ raising her family before moving to New Port Richey with her husband, Harold where they enjoyed much of their golden years together. Carmel la had been employed as a console operator for the United States Postal Service in Jersey City for 16 years. She was a member of the Red Hat Society, the Wilds Social Club, the Postal Union and she was a Cub Scout and Girl Scout Leader.
Carmel la is survived by her devoted husband, Harold of 55 years; her 5 children, Barbara and her husband James Whitehead of New Port Richey, Marie and her husband, Anthony Lawlor of Rutherford, Harold W.
