Remain respectful to your fellow 'scapers when answering questions; there are stupid questions, but it does not mean you should not be respectful whilst answering them.

If you use a google play store or iOS (Game center) based account on mobile, you cannot currently convert it into a real PC account. Unless there is some hidden documentation. I have been researching this for a couple of hours now. How can Jagex expect to retain players who want to upgrade to the full experience but cannot?

There are a couple of sources out there that "claim" it can be done but none of them work.

This link has the supposed documentation on it.

But if you actually log in on mobile you will notice a huge problem, the images shown do not represent what is actually in game.

So then you start looking for "hacky" methods to make it work:

Details how you can, from within the mobile app, connect to your account page by clicking the "view inbox" button in the account management panel. This seems all well and fine until you log in and, again just like the previous example, there is no way to actually do this:

Another guide here suggests that if you wait on the splash page (the one that says "click here to play") you can click on "inbox" from there to be redirected to the site. This is a dead click, nothing happens, maybe before, but not now.

Lastly, lots of people are struggling with this issue. If you search with keywords you will find people posting, rarely receiving answers...

There are many more examples, if you want an even larger flood of examples check the comments of the youtube video i just posted, tons of people are posting in those comments as well with the same problem, I cannot post them all, needless to say A LOT of people are having this problem!

This is a real issue this needs to be resolved or at least answered in some way. As you all know, reaching customer support is completely impossible. I have two dear clan mates that have been struggling with this for awhile now, and are ready to quit completely. One of them got a new computer for christmas and can't even play runescape which is the whole reason for him wanting it. They can't do any of the content they want because of mobile limitations, and frustratingly messaged me today explaining everything I've explained here to you.

I have been helping them try and find answers to this solution for hours now, and to say the least it has been tedious and frustrating with all avenues leading to dead ends. I don't get how you can expect the average player to do the amount of work and research I've put into this problem, they'd rather up and leave it for another game.

Every other post made about this dies off with 2-3 upvotes. Please help make this problem noticed by jagex, to keep new players playing the game, to keep the community growing. Thank you for your time and for reading.

I live in Korea and I'm used to playing on ~140 ping. I recently spent 3 weeks grinding the inferno doing 3-4 hour attempts. I had to milk SGS specs because I couldn't 1-tick prayer flick which is an extremely beneficial mechanic for the Inferno. I eventually did beat Zuk. The attempts just took forever because I used too much prayer.

I'm visiting the US right now and I just got to the airport. I decided to load up OSRS mobile and not expecting anything, I logged into a US world, did a farm run and tried 1-tick prayer flicking with my index finger with no in game sounds. To my absolute shock, on my first try ever, I was perfectly 1-tick prayer flicking my overheads for a good 30+ seconds. I'm now 100% convinced that high ping IS a valid excuse. Just having 'consistent' ping isn't good enough to play this game at the optimal level.

I'm completely accustomed to playing on ~140 ping in Korea but I cannot 1-tick prayer flick at all, yet I can do it perfectly on mobile on my FIRST try ever on low ping. Ping advantage is absolutely insane. Please give us just ONE Asian world so those of us who live in Asia can have a chance to properly play high level PVM content. There's more of us than you think and we're all paying the same amount for membership.

Hello everyone, many of you may have been in my poh to train prayer or for teleportation means, which is a big reason why this name means a lot to me. Some of you may not think that this is a big deal, but for me it is. The RSN in question is "Host Altar". About a week ago I was forced to change my name upon login. I have tweeted @ Ash and Jagex support yesterday but I still have not gotten a reply. The name is by no means offensive, and similar names are still out there. Names that contain both words like "Altarhost" are still out there. I don't know based on what criteria jagex bans names but I really want to get my name back as a lot of ppl know me by that rsn. Sorry for any mistakes, english is not my 1st language. Please upvote for visibility. Please someone look into this.

Edit 1: My name was just changed back to Host_Altar without even a notification or anthg this is so weiiiiird pls a jmod reply to me. My previous name had no _ in it. I tried adding Host Altar without _ it says i cant add myself to my own friend list lol wtf is going on with my account.

Edit 2: I just logged in and my rsn is "Host Altar" just as it was before. Thanks all for the support. Still weird that my name was force changed then changed back without a reply from a jmod or a notification or a mail or anthg but im just happy my rsn is back. Gl everyone.

I am a longtime maxed account player who has poured blood, sweat, and tears into OSRS. After multiple failed attempts to recover my hijacked account, I am still unsuccessful in retrieving my baby. I can provide any account information for the account; the account recovery has declined me time and time again.

I have the original email, with all the emails I received from Jagex along the way. I feel like my requests are no longer even being taken seriously and with the incredible evidence I have presented and even more, I could present given the opportunity with a Jmod/staff player.

I've seen people get help from the community outreach before, I ask please again to come through for another OSRS player. I love my account, I want it back so badly. I will fully cooperate to do what it takes. Please Jagex. Please community.
