UK DELIVERIES
All UK orders are dispatched within 24 hours.
Delivery costs are weight based.
UK orders under 2kgs are dispatched by royal mail 48 track service unless otherwise stated.
This takes can take up to 5 working days to arrive.
All UK orders over 2kgs are dispatched by courier company such as TNT or DPD or similar.
These orders are dispatched the day after ordering and arrive the day after the dispatch day. (this means with 48 hours).
Special Delivery/Next day delivery is available as an extra payable option.
*please note that any special delivery orders obtained after 3pm on a Thursday/Friday or over the weekend will be processed and dispatched on the next available WORKING day.
Therefore they will arrive on the next available Postal day i.e Monday or tuesday/wednesday after a bank holiday.
International shipping are again weight based and costings also vary with your country of origin.

Christmas Deliveries
Our last Overseas and European shipping date is one month before Christmas.
Our last UK Shipping date is usually 10 days before Christmas or 5 working days.
After this time we can post but we can not guarantee delivery.
If you need a last moment gift please email and or choose to pay for the next day delivery option by telephoning us directly.
But we can not guarantee next day services.
INTERNATIONAL SHIPPING
International shipping are again weight based and costings also vary with your country of origin.

Sending to the European Community
Customs Please Note that as of January 1st 2021 the UK has left the EU and the EU Economic Area.
Therefore new customs arrangements are now in place.
We have no problems in sending goods/items to the EU.
All our Couriers are sending to the EU and our shipments are being delivered.
However we are seeing extended delays with customs checks that can take several weeks to complete.
We advise all our european customers to order items well in advance, especially at christmas time.
(For christmas please order at least one month in advance!)
However European Customers must be aware of the following..
Customs clearance charges and fees may be payable on items/goods (excluding personal correspondence) entering the destination country including the EU from the UK.
These depend on the contents’ value. Parcels won’t be released until payment has been received.
Customs clearance can take several weeks please order in good time.
Items sent to the EU from England, Scotland and Wales are subject to VAT and duties in the EU.
The value of goods thresholds are detailed below
Items valued at under €22 will remain part of the Low Value Consignment Relief (LVCR) Scheme for items sent to the EU and are not subject to VAT or duties until 1 July 2021 (subject to further extension date to be set by the EU).
Commercial items/goods (excluding personal correspondence) sent to the EU over €22 and below €150 may be taxed at the border and may incur a customs clearance/handling fee in the receiving country.
Commercial items/goods sent to the EU over €150 may attract VAT, customs duties and a clearance/handling fee
The customs authorities in the destination country and the customs thresholds in place determine if charges are due on imported goods.
The levels and thresholds of charges vary from country to country. Fossils-UK.com cannot advise on what these may be.
Please contact the embassy or customs authority of the destination country for help, either directly or via their websites.
With the following in effect we no longer can accept returns from the EU.
If you have any problems however contact us immediately and we can discuss the matter on a case by case basis.
Sending to the Rest of the World
We have no problems in sending goods/items to the rest of the world.
We use either royal mail on small parcels or courier service such as fed-ex on larger parcels
However we are seeing a few delays with customs checks that can take several days and weeks to complete depending on your country.
We advise all our overseas customers to order items well in advance, especially at Christmas time.
(For Christmas please order at least one month in advance!)

FOSSILS-UK.COM REFUND POLICY
We offer a ‘14 Day Return Policy’ for UK customers.
Please note we do not currently offer this service for Northern Ireland, Republic of Ireland as well as international customers.
We will make every effort to describe all our products as correctly as possible.
However, we understand occasionally not all items received are as you expected and therefore, we offer a ‘14 Day Return Policy’.
Please note that return postage is at the expense of the customer.
If you require to return your item(s) please get in touch with us on the details below or simply reply to your order confirmation requesting a refund.
Returns - Terms & Conditions
Any damaged or faulty items must be reported within 7 days of receipt.
We can’t be held responsible for any damage or faults reported after this time.
All items must be returned in an “as sold state”.
If returning, please make sure the item/s are packaged correctly so they are not damaged in transit,
You (the customer) are responsible for the package until it reaches us.
Once the item has been received, our returns department will carry out an inspection.
Any damage caused on it's return journey invalidates our return policy.
The parcels can take up to 7 working days to be returned to us, unless sent via special delivery.
Please note that return postage is at the expense of the customer.Sorry we do not refund return shipping costs.
Your refund will be returned to you via the same method you used to pay.
We will process all returns as quickly as possible but please allow up to 14 working days for the refund to appear in your account.
