What does it mean?

During AbbVie's 2-year Healthcare Traineeship, you'll go through 3 8-month rotations. The first rotation is clearly designed from the start and you will co-create the subsequent rotations so that it matches your ambitions and profile. The focus is on gaining knowledge, experience and skills within various access and policy departments (Market Access, Public & Governmental Affairs, Contracting). In addition, a lot of attention is paid to your personal development throughout the traineeship.

Qualifications

What we ask


An exceptional position lies ahead for you. At least if you have the knowledge and experience to play the role of Healthcare Trainee (Access & Policy). You are someone who enjoys working in an innovative environment and likes to make decisions when necessary. You like to take control, are environmentally aware and have good presentation skills. You are highly motivated to work with others, to stimulate change and you are demonstrably adaptable to changes. You also like to work in a goal-oriented manner and you have strong analytical skills. You are ambitious, can carry out multiple projects side by side and you have a passion for patients' quality of life. More specifically, we ask you to:

  • A Master's degree or a Doctorate in a relevant field, such as Life Sciences, Pharmacology, Business Management, etc.
  • Graduated in 2024 or up to 1 year of work experience
  • Relevant competencies (including leadership, project management, data analysis) obtained through work experience or extracurricular activities
  • Excellent interpersonal, written and oral communication skills (in Dutch and English)
  • Able to switch between different disciplines and connect
  • Living in the Randstad
